Corsets

My corsets are not for sale, as I am still learning the challenging art of corsetry and I don't feel that my workmanship in this area is up to my usual standards. I'm still learning how to make corsets, and so most of these photos are really "how not to do it" rather than a good example of corsetry. But, practice makes perfect!

I recently discovered a really helpful book titled The Basics of Corset Building by Linda Sparks. She is the lady who wrote all the helpful details on the Farthingales' website.

This one was the right size, but I needed to use better boning to strengthen it, and add a modesty panel in the back. I wore it with the skirt from my Cinderella costume (obviously without the hoop skirt/crinoline underneath).
