Handfasting Gown (Simplicity 9891) Medieval Middle Ages 12th Century Fantasy Lord of the Rings Wedding
I made my own wedding dress for my wedding, which took place on March 13th, 2010. I used antique silk given to me by by fiance's grandmother, and I modified the pattern so that it laces up the back (rather than using a zipper). I like to think that Maid Marian or Queen Guinevere might have worn something like this.
