Time Travel Costumes: Satin Bridesmaid Gowns (McCall's 5232)

For my wedding I made my wedding dress as well as dresses for two of my friends to wear. I didn't actually have bridesmaids (how can you choose among your friends?), but these are definitely bridesmaid dresses nonetheless.
The girls wanted the dresses to match, but not so much that they were cutesy. So I used two different colors of the same fabric, and I made one dress short and the other one long to make them stand out.
